State of Morelos, South Central Highlands

Cuernavaca is the capital of the state of Morelos. With a population approaching 500,000 it can offer most amenities. Like Guadalajara it is located about 5000 feet above sea level. Many consider it to be the most attractive place in Mexico.

It has attracted the wealthy and fashionable from Mexico City and other countries. Many people enjoy the thermal and mineral springs found here. It is a city of flowers, with huge geraniums, fuschsia, bougainvillea, jacaranda and poinciana in abundance.

CLIMATE:

Cuernavaca probably has the best climate in the world. Similar to Guadalajara, but a little warmer, and a little wetter, it is ideally suited for year-round living.
